As an incredibly ancient gamer, I recognized a subtle set of easter eggs in Goblin Slayer S02E11 referencing the 1980 game Wizardry: Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord. Wizardry is perhaps the first true smash hit first person dungeon crawling game. It's not much remembered in the US today, but was and remains extremely popular in Japan. I made this very short video to explain the easter eggs to younger viewers.
