Evaluating the micron-precision and path accuracy of the Meca500 industrial robot using the Renishaw QC20-W wireless ballbar system.
The Meca500 industrial robot arm is so small and precise that very few commercially available metrology tools can accurately measure its performance. In this demonstration, we use Renishaw’s QC20-W wireless ballbar system to assess the robot's circularity and trajectory accuracy under real testing conditions.
