Associate Professor Tamara Steger from CEU’s Department of Environmental Sciences and Policy integrates community partners into her course “Interviewing and Field Observation”.
This year, with the facilitation of the Science for Society Hub, her students are working with WeltTellerFeld, an NGO that models food systems through an outdoor exhibit focused on how much the average person in Austria consumes per year. The NGO was interested in learning more about the impact of their food systems education, particularly across diverse populations in the city. This became the focus for the students’ data collection.
