So, you want the mind-bending, clinical performance and agility of a McLaren LT (Longtail) but you want one that you can be able to drop the top on? Well, here’s the answer, the 600LT Spider.
Don’t be fooled by the common myth that the convertible version compromises function over form up against its hard-top sister because in this case, the 600LT spider didn’t need any strengthening on its unique carbon fibre MonoCell II chassis.
It is in fact so strong, and so light that it is eagerly able to maintain the incredible levels of performance and agility that you would come to expect with the McLaren LT badge. An LT is the most extreme expression of a McLaren you can get. Its pushed to the edge and as far as it will go in terms of performance and exhilaration.
Without question then, it gives us great pleasure to present to you this 2019 (19) McLaren 600LT Spider that’s covered just 3,900 miles from new and comes with the benefit of a Full McLaren Service History and a McLaren Warranty too.
The exterior is finished in Silver and is fully protected with PPF. Offsetting that stunning paintwork are the optional 10-spoke Gloss Black Alloy Wheels, sitting atop the Ceramic brakes with Orange Calipers. This colour combination is an astounding match and we cannot compliment this enough.
Inside, that orange theme continues with the MSO Orange seat belts and its found on the stitching that brings the Alcantara LT panels together. Alcantara covers everything on the interior including the seats, dashboard and the steering wheel. Additionally, this car is fitted with the optional Interior Components Carbon Fibre pack, which accentuates the alcantara perfectly.
Performance wise, you’ll be hard pressed to find another drop-top car with similar figures. The twin-turbo V8 pushes out 592bhp and 458 ft-lb of torque which will propel you to 60mph in 2.9 seconds from a standing start.
On-board track telemetry is fitted too which will enable you to really hone in on your track times if you so desire. Although, with the top down you’ll certainly be more focused on the noise it produces from its top-mounted exhausts which not only look fantastic but are also designed specifically to aid with aerodynamics.
