From a collaboration that stretches back over five decades, the creation of Vanquish Zagato once again paired Aston Martin's acclaimed dynamic and material qualities with the prestigious Italian design-house Zagato, showcasing the very best of Aston Martin’s spectacular sporting ability and bespoke luxury.
It’s a car that blends the inherent refinement of Aston Martin’s quintessential design language and pure Zagato performance, while successfully harking back to the iconic DB4 GT Zagato. It is a timeless fusion of the classic, the present and the unique. Unveiled as a concept in 2016, the surge of interest pushed Aston Martin & Zagato to culminate together to create this phenomenal machine, and in limited numbers too.
Here at Premier GT then, we are incredibly excited to be able to offer to you this 1 of just 99, 2017 (17) Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato 6.0L V12 Coupes, that has covered a mere 765 miles from new. A key highlight for this example is the optional “Villa d’este package” bringing accents of gold aplenty.
The sleek exterior of this exquisite car is finished in Lava Red which enhances the beautiful body that it possesses, and really accentuates its natural Aston curves combined with the sharp Zagato lines. Every element has been considered from Zagato in terms of design, and you’ll notice the ‘Z’ design language throughout the car – from the striking Z-shaped grille right through to the sculptural rear end. It is as expected, signature Zagato form.
Round taillight reflectors that evoke the classic Zagato rear view, use the same 'bladed' LED technology as the Aston Martin Vulcan. The wing mirrors, too, closely relate to the units developed for the One-77. It’s quintessential Aston Martin, with a Zagato twist.
The cabin on this car embodies both a spectacular sporting ability combined with craftsmanship like no other car. Bespoke luxury is inherent on the Vanquish Zagato and this is visible the second you open the door. Herringbone carbon fibre is paired with Pure Black Leather and Gold accents throughout – courtesy of the Villa d’este Package. This cabin oozes class, sophistication and the vents, stitching and rotary dials are a symbol of rich material quality. The unique ‘Z’ quilt pattern stitch can be seen on the seat and door sections, while the celebrated trademark Zagato ‘Z’ is embossed on the headrests and roof lining too.
