One of the early ideas I had once the AUP was discovered and I was finally able to do it, and here is the updated tutorial for a solid method of becoming a sentinel on Sacred Icon without mods!
Here are some tips for the setup.
Skulls used are Sputnik, Black Eye, Bandana and Boom.
Do everything as quickly as you can.
Make sure the dead Arbiter bodies do not fall of the ledge at any point.
Don't blow up the sentinel factories when you kill the sentinel and yourself.
At the start, blow up all 3 of the constructors that shoot BEFORE they shoot with one well placed frag grenade.
Next grenade needs to take out the grunt before he starts shooting.
Switch to a plasma and grenade jump into the pinch spot.
With the other player, stick the next sentinel that spawns without it shooting at you and make sure you die with it in the ensuing explosion. Use active camo so it's easier.
Restart once the pinch is set BEFORE the 2nd sentinel spawns.
On the second session, repeat setups 1 and 2.
Throw the plasma in the corner to keep the object count consistent and wait for the first sentinel.
Stick the sentinel and die in the explosion again.
Now, have the living player delay the partner respawn by jumping and melee. When you hear the second sentinel spawn, stop the delay and if done correctly you'll possess the sentinel.
