This video shows every celestial object in the sky while playing Mario Golf for N64, including 2 unused sun graphics and the unused moon graphic shown in my other video.

It's important to mention that everything you see in this video is the original graphics and artwork by the Mario Golf team. These are authentic graphics and I have not altered existing data or created these in any way. They are used here with a simple hack to change which celestial objects loads in the stock driving range environment so that's why some things may not seem normal (like the orange sunset sun in blue daytime environment, etc.)

The reason I know they are unused is because I have located every environment that loads with every hole and course, and I have found the unused graphics by mapping it all out and comparing data. There are unused environments as well!

With each course, there are 8 environments created and available in the data and the final game typically uses the 4 environments in order of "Morning, Daytime, Sunset, and Twilight" and various cloudy environments as you play through the round. Each environment chunk of data has a celestial object chosen, and then also has an activator value which causes it to appear (01) or be missing (00).

The celestial objects themselves are assigned values and changing this value is what makes a different one load in.
They are:
34=Morning Sun (on horizon)
54=Daytime Sun (up in sky)
74=Afternoon Sun (lower up in sky)
94=Huge Morning Sun (on horizon) (not used)
B4=Sunset Sun (orange on horizon)
D4=Huge Yellow Sun (on horizon) (not used)
F4=Moon (not used)

Suns 54 and 74 are the same sun graphic, just different heights in the sky. The 74 sun is only used during cloudy environments, so you'd never see it clearly.

Interestingly, the Moon is the chosen object in every "Twilight" environment but is disabled for all of them, so was never intended to be loaded and used.

I have not yet figured out how to change the position of them in the sky. When you choose for a celestial object to load, the data that decides where it's located is not in the same area I'm working with. Also, the location changes based on every time you load the hole. There's a lot to this stuff!

Thanks for reading and hope you enjoyed the video.
