Coverage of the new "Diamond Shaped" loitering munition by MBDA at DIMDEX 2026 in Doha, Qatar. MBDA is working with Reunion Island-based company Fly-R to develop this new system. It brings a range of 50 Km, an endurance of 45 minutes and a payload capacity of 3 kg.
MBDA was showcasing at DIMDEX 2026 several scenarios demonstrating the capabilities of the Diamond Shaped loitering munition in maritime environments.
MBDA also entered into a cooperation agreement with Tawazun of the UAE regarding this loitering munition for local development and production.
