In this video, I show you the $1,299 La Seine X espresso machine from Maxim's de Paris - a Chinese built machine, apparently in collaboration with the French. This is a 3000 watt dual thermoblock machine, with an integrated grinder, pressure monitoring, and more. It has some convenient features, like the two integrated scales and LED lighting, and some quirky ones like the infrared thermometer for the steam wand, and pull out water tank. Let's unbox this machine together, and get it commissioned.

By the way, since filming this video, I have found to annoyances with this product. First of all, it always takes 4 minutes to heat up, which is really long for a thermoblock. Secondly, the first shot is much too cool (55 C in the cup). I suggest running at least 100ml of water through the portafilter before your first shot, to get something warmer (65 C in the cup). I didn't notice this in the video, since the first two shots were dumpers.
