Mr.D - Falling with style | Max Thrust Riot - Long term review @MrD | Uploaded 3 years ago | Updated 13 hours ago
In this video, I'll be giving my opinion on the Max Thrust Riot. I've had this plane for years now, so thought I'd share my views. In other countries, this plane is known as the ArtTech Devil, Horizon Hobby Aire-Batix, or TopRC Hobby Riot. But they're all basically the same planes underneath the stickers.

The Riot is a 1400mm wing span trainer, made of EPO foam. The landing gear is made of cheese. But this can be very useful when learning. Stock, it has a 3720 880KV motor with a 12x6 prop. This setup is fine on a standard 2200 3S pack. You can run 4S, but drop the prop down to an 11x6. This is a great plane for learning. Then as you progress, cut the lead weight out the nose, increase the throws, and have a blast. This thing can be a lot of fun, even still on a 2200 3S. I have my timer on throttle percentage, at 3:15. Landing with 3.6 - 3.7v per cell.
