In this video we look at how to set up the trainer, also known as a buddy box, on ETHOS and OpenTX. This should also be the same on EdgeTX. I show how to make each the slave and the master, so you have all combinations on all firmware. As a bonus, there's even connecting to a different system entirely via a cable. I'm demonstrating with Spektrum. But I don't see why this would not work with other systems too.
Also, there is a public service announcement from FrSky. Some pilots who have an early X20 or X20S may experience problems when their transmitter is set up as the master over a wireless connection. I show how you can fix this situation.
