WHAT A LINE!!!
Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne shares the name, characters, bullet time, and graphic novel style we know and love from Max Payne 1, but something felt off for me... maybe I just missed Sam Lake's face? I did appreciate seeing Max learn to feel alive again through his desire and connection with Mona Sax. There was definitely toxicity there but it also showed him there could be life after loss. He had his revenge, but then what? That's why I can't really imagine where the third entry takes his character growth because this ending felt like Max finally accepted the reality of everything he lost and found some form of peace. Personally I would've been okay ending his story here, but I'm happy to be proven wrong when we finally experience the third title later in the future! Thanks for watching and recommending the sequel 💛
