Dishonored 2 brings us to Karnaca and I'm speechless with how beautiful this place is. Serkonos already felt special from a distance but walking through the city streets as Emily Kaldwin made it come alive in a way I wasn't prepared for. I can practically feel the sun on my face, smell the salty air, and occasionally regret whatever rank fish situation is happening nearby 😆 Karnaca's beauty is sitting on top of something much uglier Unfortunately: cruelty, corruption, desperation, Grand Guard nonsense, and a bloodfly problem that makes every abandoned building feel very hostile. Meagan Foster has pointed us toward Addermire Institute, Anton Sokolov is missing, the Crown Killer trail is getting nastier, and Dr. Hypatia may be the next person who can help us make sense of this mess. Serkonos has exceeded my expectations but I don't plan on simply stopping at getting revenge. We have a city to understand, a father to save, a throne to reclaim, and people who deserve better than whatever Duke Abele has let happen here. Can Emily help Karnaca before she's seated back on the throne? Maybe. Can I resist reading every note, looting every apartment, and getting distracted by every gorgeous bit of environmental design along the way? Absolutely not 😈 Thanks for watching yall and I hope you're enjoying this as much as the first one!!
