Okay, so _maybe_ the betrayal wasn't the biggest shock in the world considering the amount of bodies I left behind to get the job done... but I still feel like a fool with a knife in my back 😑 Dishonored has been giving me freedom of choice this whole time and I used that freedom to become the Loyalists' most useful masked problem until Havelock, Martin, and Pendleton decided they were done saying thank you. They said jump, I said how high, and now Corvo has been poisoned, dumped into the Flooded District, and picked up by Daud, the very man who killed Jessamine. Love that for us (: Retribution will have to wait though because right now we're trapped in the flooded ruins, surrounded by Whalers, weepers, hagfish, Greaves Refinery misery, and the urgent need to get our gear back before this gets even worse. This playthrough may be heading deep into a high chaos path, but mark my words, I *will* be back. Like a phoenix from the ashes, my low chaos run will come right on the heels of this first playthrough, and *then* I'll finally know if the betrayal happens in both paths.
