John Conteh travels to Belgrade to try and wrest the WBC title that was stripped from him from around the waist of former World amateur champion and Olympic Gold medalist Parlov.
A fairly scrappy but intriguing styles clash between the fading boxer puncher Conteh and the awkward southpaw Parlov, Conteh makes up for his legs leaving him and his damaged hands by desperately trying to punch out a decision against the home country favourite. Even with a taller southpaw foe, Conteh's use of the head does not go unnoticed by the referee.
