Winter has arrived at the camp and that means it's time to plow! Are you excited too!!!
We had about 3 or4 inches of wet snow and then the temps dropped to -17 overnight. So everything was frozen pretty good. But I needed to plow because I was expecting the Power Company truck to come and take the tree off the power line. I didn't want them to have a reason not to come down my lane, so I plowed!
Not a bad decision as I enjoy plowing. But the first plow of the winter is always a tricky one. Usually the snow it wet and heavy and hard to push around, or like this time, it's frozen to the ground and that's hard to plow as well.
And another thing about the first plow, all the gravel sticks to the snow and you end up plowing it all off over the banks or on the lawns!! Awe but I shouldn't complain. It was a gorgeous day. Nice and sunny. It was cold for sure but not too windy. Just about perfect for plowing so let's go and do some instead of talking about it!!
