Hello,

Ugh, where to begin.

Overused song choice is overused. I’m sorry; but I was ~inspired~

I pretty much refused to give this show the time of day in S1, I won’t lie. After TWP, I didn’t want to subject myself to any more PG adaptations, which somehow manage to be even more vile to their characters than the source material…
Then I stumbled upon the fact that Mark Rowley was going to be in S2, and that combined with the potential to see Mary/Charles’s story done some sort of justice - in this house we do NOT talk about the disaster that was The Tudors’ Margaret/Charles storyline.

These two are truly the main light in this trash show, Sai/Jordan have incredible chemistry, and just steal all of the scenes. I just want a historically accurate miniseries with them as Mary and Charles (and one showcasing the eerie similarities between Margaret Tudor’s life and that of her granddaughter, Mary Queen of Scots, but that’s a whole different thing). They’d be so good.

Anyway, this is garbage that I finished in one sitting - I really need to stop doing that, it’s always ghastly. But, I do have to say I am grateful to this show for getting me to open Vegas and finish something (other than cutting Clois scenes…). I guess that’s what historical 'OTPs' will do for ya (now I just need shows about Charlotte/Leopold, Katherine Grey/Edward Seymour and Elizabeth/Robert Dudley - yeah, I’m a bad person). Hopefully, if I actually stick to my plan for next week’s episode, my next offering for these two will be more worthy.

And finally, this one is for Alaina, for obvious reasons (and thank you for the episode!), and Vale - congrats on graduating!!!

Basically, all this to say; go watch Alaina’s (DarkesxHearts), it’s so much better than this.
