I recently picked up the PS4 versions of Miles Morales, and Ragnarok for $20 each brand new at my local Walmart. The store was clearing them both out for cheaper than they were on any other platform, so I decided to pick them up. Miles Morales feels a lot more like an expansion pack to the original Spider-Man game on the PS4. It's still got the same addictive design elements of the original, same combat system, and the enemies are mostly pallet-swaps as well. It's also absurdly short by comparison. All that said, I enjoyed playing through this game overall, even if I think the original is way better. Overall, it's a good game. I'm glad I paid a $20 asking price for the PS4 version instead of picking up the PC version of $50. Twenty dollars seems about right considering the shorter length of the game.
The PS4 version runs and looks nice. Even without all the pretty ray-tracing graphical effects of the PC/PS5 version, the game's graphics are still excellent, and it runs pretty well too. I'm not sure what the framerate is on average, but I am playing it on a PS4 Pro with Boost mode and Super sampling enabled. I only have a 1080p capture card, so this is 1080p being upscaled to 4K in my editing software, but with Supersampling on, It's hard to tell, even on my TV the difference between the PS4 Pro running it in 4K or 1080p with Supersampling.
