Using Berlin’s Volksbühne as the point of departure, Marta Dyachenko’s exhibition ‘:re’ at Dittrich & Schlechtriem addresses architecture’s life cycles and probes the liminality of the present. Between monument and fresh start, demolition and recollection, war and healing, Dyachenko presents miniatures of new worlds. Two outdoor sculptures complement the artist’s references to the Volksbühne and Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz with a direct connection to the site.
