I truly enjoy inspiring young people to look at their music with a different perspective. That's why I particularly enjoyed performing at The Elisabeth Morrow School in Englewood, New Jersey, which has a very special environment that truly fosters creative intelligence and emotional intelligence.
I was invited by the fantastic Amelia Gold, the Associate Head of School and Director of the Arts, to appear at this unique school and was thrilled to find out that they partner all the music classes (required, btw) with the academic classes and that the academic teachers support this 100%. They all see the immense power of music and the arts being side by side with brain power development.
The right balance of arts and academics creates a special type of student who possesses empathy, wisdom, brain power, and wonderful social collaboration.
