Will there be a great revival or billion soul harvest before Jesus returns, or will Scripture point to a great falling away (apostasy)? Many believers hope for a massive global awakening, but what does the Bible actually say? There are no Bible verses that directly say there will be an end times revival. Many people uses passages for an end time revival but are actually writing in their prepositions into the text. Actually it seems the Bible is clear we will see a great falling away and the early church fathers expected this as well. Despite widespread apostasy (with only a small percentage of American Christians holding a true biblical worldview), there's hope: the Gospel continues to spread (especially via the internet and missions to the unreached 10/40 Window), Jesus promised to be with us to the end, and the gates of hell will not prevail. Prepare for the worst, expect the best, hold eschatology loosely, and live daily with unwavering hope in Christ—no fear needed!
