Earlier this year, our 15-year-old green anaconda Marion had her annual exam! 🐍

As part of her check-up with Dr. Innis, Marion had blood draws, an ultrasound, and she was measured + weighed. Can anyone guess Marion's length and weight?

....... 13.5 ft. and 87 lb! 😮

Marion is considered to be in her "teenage" years for an anaconda, so she is still growing! Green anacondas are known to be one of largest snakes in the world, and can reach lengths of 35 ft. and weights of 550 lb. So Marion could have quite a bit of growing left to do!
