Back at it after a month off, and my skills are still VERY sharp- sharper than I expected.
The game was extraordinarily nice to me at every point in the run. Seriously, I've never had a run go that smoothly through the first three matches. And then... a 2-inning Wario and 3-inning Bowser. If *either one* of those had been an inning shorter it would have been the world record without a doubt. Sucks to miss out on the record because of gameplay error as opposed to RNG - it feels worse - but I'm not stopping now, or ever.
