It's faster to get the Kong HR second and the Banana Ball RBI third, ending the inning on the play. Faster than that is getting a home run with the Banana Ball, which I have on good authority is possible, but with the admittedly little testing that I've done just does not seem viable (especially if you have to play Barrel Batter before each shot).
I also wish the bottoms of the innings had gone more smoothly. You can finish Mario's team in 6 batters, and hopefully I'm able to do that in my next run.
For now, I'm satisfied with this clear. This run is harder than it might seem.
