Ugh.
I accepted playing a sixth inning against Mario because I wanted that third tongue catch just on an emotional level. Then I got it. Then I decided "fine I'll continue."
Peach was pretty good.
DK was awful for absolutely no good reason. I was trying to get the Yoshi batting challenges done but there's no excuse for not Mercy Ruling any match other than Mario's in this run.
Wario was excellent, other than the fact that neither of the times Yoshi got onto 3rd base counted as a triple :'(
Minigames were all ideal. Shy Guy's is the only one with a variable time and I got the minimum of 4 bombs.
Bowser Jr... I hate this gremlin. This awful imp boy. Playing defense against him is miserable and I wish I never had to do it. Whatever. Thanks to my knowledge of Bowser Jr. manip I was able to force home team after a certain point (I'll probably do that for second try if I need to next time) and I did manage to get a triple out of him... eventually. Still, clearly extremely bad.
Bad Bowser. I got empty base bunt right off the top (I was planning on restarting the match for it) and had everything all set for a WR finish if I could just get a fast 1 or 2-inning mercy rule. Nope. The biggest mistake was not swapping out Baby Luigi for Toadette. I'll remember to do that next time.
