Kate's making the promotional rounds for her 3rd book entitled "I Just Want You To Know." This apppearance on Extra is a brief interview with some interesting fan questions, and even an awesome shot of her doing some improv dancing with Mario Lopez.
Perhaps eclipsing this book promo is the custody drama. Of course Kate is saying they don't have access to the kids (which is rather sad that Kate would keep the kids from their family). I think Jodi and Kevin are involved in hearings about child labor laws and permits for the kids to be filmed on J&K Plus 8... not who gets custody. If things weren't done properly then there are some major legal ramifications, even now.
Jodi & Kevin did about 4 interviews last year and they were majorly bad mouthing Jon and Kate's relationship (turns out they were right about a lot of it). Hopefully they're just providing accurate testimony about the working conditions of the kids, and not a round of interviews for TV.
