A rescue effort of this size takes immense coordination and is only possible through teamwork and decades of experience.

With our colleagues Shedd Aquarium, Georgia Aquarium, and Mystic Aquarium, we were able to start the rescue process earlier this week. We’re also happy to report the first 6 beluga whales from Canada are settling in nicely at their new homes in Chicago and San Antonio.
