In this video, I show you the Ostwald process in an experiment. In the Ostwald process, ammonia is oxidized using a suitable catalyst to produce nitric acid. I use a catalyst that you can buy on Amazon or eBay, which is not expensive. I also show how to build a low-cost, modular lab frame for chemical experiments.
