It started with a TikTok I saw where someone put giant googly eyes on a piece of industrial machinery. I had recently upgraded my minivan a Ford F-150 Powerboost hybrid pickup truck, and It was all downhill from there.
The eyes were store-bought from Amazon. I designed mounts for the eyes and a silly mouth in @adskFusion. The mouth is meant to be reminiscent of a dog hanging its head out the window of a car, with the Ford logo being his nose.
I made the mount points separate parts that are printed on their own. This was done so that the layer lines were oriented in such a way to maximize strength and avoid any shearing planes. I do not want these things to fly off at highway speed.
Pieces printed on Prusa i3MK3S printers, one of them with the MMU2S attachment, which allowed me to print the mouth and tongue in different colors.
