I have an alert set up on Craigslist, searching for older Northfield woodworking equipment, specifically looking for a bandsaw and planer. Recently, the alert paid off, when I found an old 1954 27 inch saw about an hour away from me. This is about as big of a machine as I can fit in my basement. This video is how I transported and set it up in my basement workshop.
