Back in 2019, I salvaged a white oak tree that a neighbor had cut down in their yard. I used a chainsaw mill to cut up the big pieces, but I ended up splitting one of the smaller pieces, thinking I might use it for chair parts. I never did, but a project has finally come up where I can use it. I wanted to get as close to quarter-sawn pieces out of it (and I really felt I could use a hernia), so I went about milling the piece in the shop.
Tools used:
@dewalttv DW735 Planer
1966 Northfield 12" Jointer (branded as a Porter 301)
Dewalt handheld power planer
1980 Northfield 32" Bandsaw (Gumbi)
@sawstop PCS Table Saw
