In October 2021, @MrBeast and @MarkRober sent out a call to creators to join the #TeamSeas initiative, their follow-up to #TeamTrees from a few years ago. This aims to raise enough money to remove 30,000,000 pounds of trash from the oceans and rivers around the world.
This is my contribution to Team Seas, though the connection is a bit of a stretch, I admit.

I came across my 1980 Northfield 32" bandsaw on Craigslist. A woodworking business nearby was downsizing, and wanted to get rid of the saw. It was in beautiful condition, and I am only the third owner. The seller put it on a pallet of sorts, which made it much easier to move around. Even then, I had to figure out how to disassemble it enough to get it safely down four steps and through a standard 32" basement door.
Northfield Machinery has been around for more than a hundred years, and is a true pleasure to work with. They can give you the history of your machine, and parts are available going back for more than half a century
