In this video I show a simple way to make a table a your base camp or bushcraft survival shelter. I start with sharpening one end of 4 woodne stakes. I use Willow in this video but you can use any wood you have available. These wooden stakes can be as long as you want depending on the height you want your table to be. Pound these into the ground in the shape of a rectangle. Using two shorter sticks with V notches on each end, separate your stakes depending on the width you want your table. Then tension of your stakes will hold your shorter supporting stakes, or you can tie them down with cordage as I did in this video. You can use bank line, paracord or natural cordage if needed. Tying these down with cordage will allow the table to support more weight placed on it. This is a simple, fast but effective way to make a table will out at your camp. It requires minimal gear and even less energy for you to make.
