This super quick project was inspired by a tutorial I found online for a 1930s 'mad cap', made famous by the designer Schiaparelli. It was simple and fast, but the result is very cool and versatile. The combination of my fabric (knit velvet) and lining (very sturdy cotton) worked very well, and I think I can get a lot of wear out of this quirky little hat.
