A while ago I started taking apart a large crate of batteries from BMW EV. But then I realized I had no place to put them. Now I've purchased a used server rack (or server cabinet) from a recycler near me. This is a 42U height, 19 inches wide. It has a front door and two sides. Those panels should make it a safe home for batteries by protecting them and the wires.
This is all part of my larger off grid solar system. Actually, everything seen in the video is performed off the grid using solar energy. This includes the editing of this video.
