Well, this is something different for me, my very first engine build (to prints).
This will be the first in a series of videos building the Jan Ridders design (Marc) heat engine.
Jan designed this based on another design for a gift for his eldest son "Marc". Jan makes the plans freely available from his website so if you are interested in building one of these, please contact Jan directly at http//ridders.nu
In this first video, I give an overview of the engine and the reasons I have chosen to build it, as well as showing the making of what I am calling the crankcase (ish) parts as a starter for 10. I hope you find this interesting.
