Another change of pace! We are planning to take Flytrap, my 1951 Chevy Rat Truck on a camping trip to the desert. A canvas canopy/soft top will be perfect for loading all the gear, so we decide to build one from scratch. First we build a steel tube frame that bolts to the load bin, then its time to haul out the sewing machine to see if we can stitch together a workable canvas canopy.
