Sharing this fun and easy upcycle slow stitching project to create a pouch that can hold pens, pencils or scissor (or whatever you may like).

It uses a vintage doily with added embroidery plus fabric scraps - lace and wool blanket.

The added embroidery of the flower was created as part the antique 1800s embroidery designs we are stitching as part of the stitch along I am hosting.

You can adapt the project to the slow stitching or sewing supplies you have.

The pouch I made was for the wonderful Fleur Woods who I was so fortunate to attend a workshop with a few weeks back. This was a little gift I made for her and gave to her on the last day pf the workshop.
