This is a remake of a video I produced in 2020, with better editing and a little more time to see what's being done in each step of the project. This addition to the activity gate was intended to help him learn about angles, gravity, obstacles, and also to help with some motor skills and upper-body strength. I made it with materials I already had on hand, which in this case conveniently included some impact-resistant polycarbonate tubing and 1/2" stainless-steel ball bearings left over from this one time when I was thinking about building a quasi-perpetual-motion machine, but then ironically lost momentum after buying the materials. The two types of wood used are purpleheart and beech.
