The big kids of Mākara Model School (MMS) in Wellington, have moved into their ‘new’ classroom. The new building was actually the original Mākara school, built in 1872. The classroom has recently been relocated from its old home to sit adjacent to MMS for the older students to learn in. This project has been a real labour of love for the Mākara community and Meridian is thrilled to have been able to contribute through our Power Up Community Fund.
