In our 26th edition of Mainline Montage, we'll bring you a whopping FORTY MINUTES of awesome railroading action in January of 2015. We'll spend a lot of our time in northeastern PA, as well as parts of New York state.
Jan. 9th - On a day with flurries in the forecast, we went train hunting in the Wyoming Valley.
Jan 10th. - NS 12T heads west with a UP SD70M second out just east of Owego, NY.
Jan 16th. - We are along CSX's River Line on a very cold Friday, and saw several trains along the old New York Central's West Shore Route.
Jan 24th. - We decided to venture out onto the CSX Trenton Sub and catch the CSX K048 in play with a CP leader. The loaded oil train delivers with its Canadian Pacific C44-9W leading through Woodbourne, PA.
Jan 25th. - NS gave us a plethora of Canadian power to see throughout the day, along with a few other surprises in the Allentown area.
