CassetteMaster | Magnetic Recording with DC Bias @CassetteMaster | Uploaded 4 years ago | Updated 6 hours ago
I read aloud an old bulletin article, Bulletin No. 8 of Sound Talk, from the Magnetic Products Division of 3M. I found this article online at:
http://www.aes.org/aeshc/docs/3mtape/soundtalk/soundtalkbull08.pdf
I decided to read it onto a DC bias tape recorder, the Victor Handcorder (one of my favorites). Obviously I am not the author, this article is way older than I am!
The AES Historical Committee website is absolutely fabulous:
http://www.aes.org/aeshc/#RecTech
A must-see site for those interested in the history of sound recording.
