Complete cycle of a demo project from the MagicBox AlphaGen recorded to tape.
For those who may not be aware, the MagicBox AlphaGen was an Amiga 1200 housed in a rack mount case with special software provided by a CD to allow the client to generate digital signage. These units were most common particularly in cable TV providers for a community bulletin-board channel, hence the style of this demo. Some models also had image capture, which allowed importing pictures from (IBM) PC-formatted floppy disks onto its hard drive. If you are fairly interested and want a more detailed look into it, I'd recommend checking out the Big Book of Amiga Hardware's write-up about it [ bigbookofamigahardware.com/bboah/product.aspx?id=45 ] or this video by 'BBISHOPPCM's World' [ youtu.be/pQT8Pu0ksO0 ]. I have plans to also make a tutorial on how to emulate this using WinUAE some day in the future, so do be on the lookout for that.
There was initially music in the background, provided by my internet radio station, however considering the fact it was not only copyrighted, but that its claimant set it to block videos featuring the track in various international countries.
