A Day of Small Things | Macbeth, the witches and their prophecies // Reading Journal @adayofsmallthings | Uploaded April 2022 | Updated October 2024, 1 hour ago.
This is my first video on a Shakespeare play. The depict of 'manhood' is intriguing. My favourite lines are on 'sleep'. But the most fascinating for me is the 'weird sisters', the three witches that kick off the whole drama. Would Macbeth have become king if he didn't hear the prophecies? Lastly, have you noticed the Macbeth reference in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban? I only picked it up this week after reading Macbeth! I wonder whose bright idea that was?
Happy reading!
