This is a piano solo cover of "Ma Meilleure Ennemie" by Stromae & Pomme from the animated series Arcane: League of Legends. This song was featured in Season 2 Episode 7 “Pretend Like It’s the First Time”, specifically the iconic dance scene. This was absolutely my favorite episode of the season, and listening to this song still makes me feel so bittersweet. It perfectly captures that longing feeling of what could have been. I have some more specific thoughts to share at the bottom of my description under a spoiler warning, but first, I want to tell you a bit more about this arrangement.
This is my first time working with Mattia D’Ambros, and WOW was it an amazing experience! I am a huge fan of Mattia’s unique arrangements and his ability to capture so many genres, so I was so excited to collaborate with him on this piece. I told him that this was a song that I really loved, but I had no idea how to translate it into a piano solo. His arrangement completely blew me away. It captures that longing feeling between the two characters so well, preserving the spirit of the original while taking on a different tone. I love this arrangement so much, and I had so much fun practicing and learning it!

I'm a huge sucker for alternate universe/timeline storylines and the exploration of the butterfly effect, so this episode really stuck with me. It was so bittersweet to see Ekko and Powder living happily in this timeline while Ekko and Jinx were suffering in the one we were familiar with. The lyrics for this song perfectly describe the combination of the parallel relationships as well. Even the title, "Ma Meilleure Ennemie", means "My Best Enemy". Anyway this episode made me cry a lot and I hope that Ekko and Jinx can find their own happiness.

This one has been in the works for a while, and I am so excited to finally share it with you all! Mattia sent me his score a few months back, but I took a bit of a break from piano due to some personal issues. I am doing a lot better now, and this piece gave me the inspiration I needed to get back into the swing of things. I am so grateful to Mattia for his endless patience and positivity during this time. I am always impressed by Mattias ability to make each song he arranges into his own masterpiece, whether its through unique instrumentation or total genre-shifting. I think it is so cool that he was able to turn this classic heavy metal song into a fun waltz! I had such a blast working on this with him. My own personal introduction to this song was from playing Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 as a kid, so I liked to imagine waltzing around on a skateboard while playing this one 😅.

WOW this trailer took me by surprise. I was super excited to see that it was a new Fire Emblem game, but then I was doubly excited when it became clear that it would have ties to Three Houses! This is probably the game thats going to make me get a Switch 2 LOL.
I did my best to capture the music in the trailer behind all the dialogue and sound effects. I arranged this to be a bit slower than the original piece both out of convenience for myself and also because it sounded more natural on piano to me. I also tried my best with the score transcription, but I wasnt sure how to best organize the first few bars. Hopefully it isnt too confusing.
I dont know if this is the main theme for the game, or if its a particular battle song being used for the announcement/launch/reveal trailer, but it has been stuck in my head since the day I heard it. I was so inspired to make a piano cover version of this, and its the first arrangement I have come up with since my break from YouTube. I cant wait to hear more of this OST once the game is out!
Im really excited to meet Cai, Dietrich, Leda, and Theodora. Im also interested to see how the Nabateans and Sothis tie into this. The coliseum vibe is very interesting.

Monoliftsoft does it again. I can’t wait to learn more about Noah, Mio, Lanz, Eunie, Taion, and Sena. I also can’t wait to learn how this connects the worlds of Xenoblade 1 and 2 since there are many hints to both games throughout (like the Mechonis Sword and Gormott). Also… possible Melia and Nia comebacks???
I can’t wait to hear more music from this game - the flutes are so beautiful and I’m interested in how they tie in to the story. Im assuming this is the main theme - I love it so far.
