In this video we take another look at the LiPo Beast. Torque Test channel did test the pack and even though some rough numbers were impressive it was overall a let down. Once they received the pack it seems the M18 12Ah BMS board kept shutting down and it was rather sporadic and sometimes not even load related. Sometimes things just don't work out the best and I totally accept that. I can't help but wonder why though since I tested it here before sending it out and I could not stop the thing. TTC is of course testing way better and further than I can attempt. Just has me wondering if a bad connection at the BMS balance leads or something similar? Either way in this video we remove the M18 BMS, take the Lipo packs and connect them to the Aftermarket Board that I have and we will send it back in for testing and hopefully it will perform much better. I do take time at the end of the video to load test the pack as well as I can with a 3HP DC motor. I never had it simply cut out on me at all. So here's to one more attempt. So many thanks to TTC for testing this for us and taking time to report back the findings, send back the pack and also show us on video how it performed.
