She was once dubbed ,the face of the eighties, and enjoyed huge success and fame as a star of comedies and films.

But the fame was short lived for Liesat Anthony and she claims she is now living on just £6,000 per year as fees paid for television roles have dropped dramatically.

And the popular actress, who rose to fame in the BBC's Three Up, Two Down, told the Sunday Telegraph that, she was previously, homeless and on welfare.

The twice married star blamed her struggles on "expensive husbands" and a "nasty break up" from her 10-year-old son's stepfather, film score composer Simon Boswell.

She said ,Over the years I have had a lot of expensive husbands. I have been homeless and on welfare.
