Season 1, Episode 1: Too Crazy

I do enjoy your company. We are sitting on her balcony watching the sun set over the roofs of the nearby houses. Sipping on a Coke, eyes closed and just feeling the warmth of the sun on my skin. Life’s good. Not many things are happening right now, but that’s okay. After we finished school, we took a year off to find out what we wanted to do with our lives. Turns out I still don’t know really, so I just started studying some humanistic course, which barely needs my attendance. That’s probably not the best starting situation for a productive semester, but I really couldn’t care less. Right now, I only want this moment and I absorb it to the fullest. Just call me lazy, but university just doesn’t deserve my attention.
I had my eyes closed all the time, so I didn’t notice the girl to my right smiling at me the entire time. She’s my girlfriend. Right? I think so. Things started out weirdly between us and I can’t really tell what we are exactly, but it seems that she’s madly in love with me. That’s a beautiful feeling, because I haven’t felt this kind of love for years, but it’s also a depressing feeling, because I don’t think that I can give her all that back. And the worst thing is that she probably doesn’t know that. I also really don’t want to talk to her about it. I’m living in the moment and just enjoy what is and don’t want to think about what isn’t, even though I know that it probably will be a problem, but that is to be solved by the future-me.
