It was around 10:20 pm and I was mindlessly browsing reddit as I came across an animation loop in r/art that was crossposted to r/raining (a subreddit I'm absolutely in love with!), which inspired me to make a chill piano beat with some guitar lines on top. Long story short: I found out it was made for the song "Cute" by Kiefer, which is a really great track, but the problem was that I therefore couldn't use it. So I searched some gifs and found the amazing artist Toyoi Yuuta, who has made a whole bunch of these japanese pixel art gifs and my god they are stunningly good and I found this piece to fit even better than my original idea.

I always wanted to remix this epic theme, but I never did, because I thought it wouldnt make a good lofi track, but then I got the idea of big metal guitars paired with a hard electronic four-to-the-floor beat and so this kind of remake found its way into existence!

I made this chillwave kinda track a pretty long time ago and could never decide wether I should publish it or not. I nearly forgot about it, until I found the project folder again, listened to the track and wonder why I ever doubted.
