Lufthansa Boeing 747’s Beautiful takeoff from Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (CSIA) Mumbai, India. [30-5-2019]

D-ABVS was operating this flight between Frankfurt and Mumbai as “LH756/LH757”. This flight usually arrives at Mumbai Airport at 1am and departs by 3am. But on this day, she arrived at 4.30am and departed at 7am, which helped us plane spotters to photograph her in daylight.

This airframe was delivered to Lufthansa in April 1997. She is currently over 22 years old and still flying strong. She wore Lufthansa’s “Fanhansa” Special livery from June 2014 to September 2014.

Lufthansa will phase out their old Boeing 747s once they start taking deliveries of their Boeing 777X. I hope to click these Boeing 747s as many times as possible before they are retired.
